Food Tips
During an ultra it is essential to keep your body properly hydrated and energized. This means you will need to eat and drink while running. This can cause some people problems, especially at first. The key is keeping a good balance of sodium, caffine, protein, and carbs. Each of these will play a role in keeping you going and even recovering later in the run, and ultimately after the run. Here are some of the foods we have experimented with that worked well.
